Stefano Caletti is an internationally experienced professional nature and wildlife photographer, explorer, Communication Specialist, and Colour Strategist. With over 20 years of experience studying and practising photography, he has cultivated a unique multidisciplinary approach to his work.
He holds a B.A. in Science Popularization and an M.A. in Colour Symbology, both awarded summa cum laude (110/110). Currently, Stefano is pursuing two postgraduate degrees. The first is an Advanced Master’s in the General Theory of Natural Sciences, focusing on ecology, biosciences, and metacognitive teaching methods. The second is an Advanced Master’s in Modern and Contemporary Philosophy, exploring the critical intersections of bioethics, philosophy of science, aesthetics, and socio-cultural communication.
His extensive academic background includes specialized expertise in Communication and Language Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Behavioural Physiology, Intercultural Communication, and the Neurobiology of Language. Stefano has conducted in-depth research on colour, light, and human perception, frequently applying this knowledge to neuromarketing and marketing communications within the business and advertising sectors. Furthermore, he has completed advanced coursework in Ethology, Animal and Plant Physiology, Zoology, Ecology, and Physical Geography.
A tireless traveller, Stefano has explored numerous countries worldwide. His passion for nature photography developed early on, driven by a profound desire to capture the extraordinary beauty of the natural world. Each of his shots conveys deep emotion and advocates for environmental protection.
Stefano is a proud member of TAU Visual® (National Association of Professional Photographers – Italy) and A.I.F.® (Italian Association of Photographers). He is also a highly experienced Certified Professional Drone Pilot with EASA OPEN A1/A3 and A2 licences and over 1,300 flight hours, holding additional certifications in the UK, the US, and Canada. As a dedicated conservationist, he actively supports WWF® Italia, LIPU®, Legambiente®, and various other international non-profit organizations. For his grounded work, Stefano relies on a wide range of Pentax® equipment—ideal for landscapes, macro, and wildlife photography—while utilizing DJI® and Insta360® gear for his aerial captures.
